English language voiceover artist Marcus Berry possesses a neutral, almost mid-Atlantic style which is rich and versatile, natural and friendly, or serious and dramatic. From his base in Switzerland, he provides powerful, professional narration, voiceover and production services to clients who aim to communicate their message effectively and get results.
Drawing on some 20 years of experience, he performs commercials, documentaries, tourist guides, audio books, powerpoint/website presentations, audio trainers, voicemail, computer games, apps and more.
Employing a wide variety of styles and top quality equipment at his home studio, he can rapidly generate complete voice over production packages including scriptwriting services should you require. And from time to time he also provides voice training.
Marcus is currently the voice of Swiss watch brand Tissot (see ad featuring model and actress Deepika Padukone) and has been employed by many other major brands including Nespresso, Parker Pens, Union Bancaire Privé, Milka, Nestlé and Novartis, as well as organisations such as the United Nations, International Red Cross and CITES.
He also narrated “Roger McGowen, Death Row Inmate”, winner of the 2014 prize for best documentary at the WilliFest International Film Festival in New York, and has worked on “Sequenced” and “Break a Leg”, both virtual reality games by the internationally recognised Geneva-based developer Apelab. The former is a recipient of several international awards and the latter has been entered for the upcoming Sundance Festival.
During his radio career he broadcast for the BBC, Capital Radio, Sky News, World Radio Geneva and Radio Frontier and has appeared as a spokesperson for the World Meteorological Organization on CNN.
His voiceover services are continually in demand from major production studios in Zurich, Geneva, Basel, Bern, Fribourg, Lausanne and Luzern as well as outside Switzerland.
But most importantly, as a voiceover artist, Marcus knows how to listen to your requirements, take note of your direction and deliver voiceovers that convince and captivate.
